Read the markers. Know what changed.
Protearc measures brain and inflammation proteins from one blood draw and shows each person's results against their own range, draw after draw. Your care team sees what moved, without reading a lab sheet.
Measure
More than 100 brain proteins and a broad set of inflammation proteins from one routine blood draw, run at Neurocode, a CLIA-certified (#50D2301382), CAP-accredited (#9838151) laboratory in Bellingham, Washington.
Compare to yourself
The first draws set a personal baseline. A change is flagged only when it goes beyond the normal variation of that person's own results.
Explain
In Arc Watch, the portal for care teams, Arc Assist answers questions about the open member, quotes only numbers from that member's released results, and does not diagnose or advise treatment.
Brain and Inflammation
The Brain panel is available now. The Inflammation panel is coming later; we will announce a date here. Both are laboratory-developed tests, not cleared or approved by the FDA.
- Brain
- Proteins linked to neuronal health, glia and neurodegeneration, reported as findings for the clinician.
- Inflammation
- Cytokines and related proteins, tracked against the same personal baseline.
- Together
- One draw, one report, one timeline for each member.
Blood proteins hint at which cells are ageing fastest
A study of 60,542 people used thousands of blood proteins to estimate the age of more than 40 cell types, and found that people age unevenly, cell by cell.
Science · 6 Nov 2026One blood protein, and memory changes years later
In 2,684 older adults with no memory problems, higher blood p-tau217 went with a higher chance of memory problems in the years that followed.
Testing · 6 Nov 2026Two more blood tests for Alzheimer's brain changes cleared by the FDA
In one week of August 2026 the FDA gave clearance to two more blood tests, made by other companies, that look for amyloid, bringing the total to four. Both are for people who already have memory symptoms.
